The light of Collioure is wonderful, especially at the beginning and at the end of the day. Matisse, Derain, Picasso, Chagall, Vlamynck, Braque put their easels there and brought out the colors of their canvases. A journey through the city punctuated by twenty reproductions of paintings. is offered to you. Guided tours are of course offered by the Tourist Office and it's a great way to discover the city. Note: The Collioure Museum of Modern Art, called the Peské Museum, has few canvases and little means to organize its temporary exhibitions. The main Museum of Modern Art in the Region is located in the peaceful town of Céret (45 minutes from the hotel) where many artists also stayed at the start of the 20th century.
